Hello Falcon Families! 


Middle school is a time of growth, change, and transition in so many ways. As students move through these important years, they begin to experience new academic expectations, increased independence, changing friendships, and new responsibilities. Families may also have questions about how to best support their students through these changes and prepare them for the next steps in their educational journey.

To support this transition, we are hosting a series of informational meetings to discuss some of the changes you and your student may experience.


Our first session, titled “Understanding Report Cards & YouthTruth Survey,” will walk you through how to understand your student’s progress reports, monitor their grades, and understand how their grades connect to their work in high school.

In addition, we will provide families with time to complete the YouthTruth Survey. This survey gives you an opportunity to share feedback about your family’s experience at LAMS so far and help us identify areas for improvement moving forward.

We invite you to join us on Tuesday, September 29, 2026!

Session Times:

  • AM Session: 8:45 AM – 9:45 AM

  • PM Session: 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM

The presentation will be offered in both English and Spanish and hosted in our Library.

Please RSVP, as we plan to provide refreshments and light snacks.
